What's New for the 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500?

The 2019 Silverado is an evolved pickup, rebuilt from the ground up for the current model year to be stronger and more powerful than ever, and to offer more tech and safety features than previous versions.

The changes for the 2019 Silverado go deep, starting with the way the truck is engineered and constructed. A new combination of steel and aluminum are behind every truck in the model lineup, giving the entire model a lighter, but stronger, frame. It's also grown overall, coming in longer, wider, and taller than other Silverado trucks that came before it. This new size gives three extra inches of legroom in the backseat of all crew cab models, and it allows even your tallest passengers plenty of room to get comfy in.

Despite the changes for construction and size, longtime Silverado fans throughout North Carolina and the Greensboro and Burlington, NC area will notice a very similar exterior design for the 2019 year. This pickup truck borrows the same exterior hood and front grille, giving the entire pickup an overall familiar feel, just with more legroom and power.

The 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500 Performance

Once you get past the new Silverado model's increased size and new construction, NC truck drivers throughout the Mebane and Durham area will notice there's also been a shift under the hood for this pickup.
